Secret Socieites?

Rumor has it, there are quite a bit of secret societies involved in politics. What are you guys/gals thoughts and opinions on this matter?

I've heard of the Free Mason Society quite often..

Yes mate,
Just about all American presidents have been Freemasons since Independence.
I saw a clip which chilled me to my bones - it was "dubya" and Laura Bush farewelling an audience with the identifiable Freemason hand-sign.
Also, such American icons such as the Pentagon, the obelisk(?) etc are signs paying homage to the history of Freemasonry in the development of American society.
George Washington and most of the founding fathers were Freemasons.

Wasn't George Washington one of the founders of the Free Mason Society? Or was that just a rumor I've heard somewhere?

u could be right...I'm not completely sure but if u and I look at the monuments in Washington as well as The Statue Of Liberty, we will see the influence of Freemasonry in "The New World."

Agreed, that show "The Underworld" I believe it's called, shows some underground tunnels, pathways, and subway systems that the free mason society had created. I was amazed with the technology they had and were using back in the day when there wasn't supposed to be that kind of technology.

From what I hear regularly, I can say that its quite evident that Freemasons are actively participating in Politics of the US (.. & maybe many other countries as well).

Oh yea I completely agree. I don't think secret societies like that will ever die out unfortunately.

What exactly is the Freemasons? I've heard that term tossed around, but I never found out what it was.

As for secret societies, of COURSE there are. SO much stuff happens 'underground' in politics we never see.

The freemasons are one of the most highly known about secret societies. Technically they're not too secret anymore, but what they do is still a mystery!

There are suspicions which connect them to the "Illuminati" and I suggest you google both to give an initial briefing into these entities.
After that, maybe some here could direct you to more informative/incisive sites.
